Athlete to Canada Emergency
Hospital/Medical Insurance covers on and off the ice injuries and
sicknesses requiring emergency hospital confinement or emergency
medical treatment sustained while in Canada on a single trip and while
awaiting the Provincial Coverage's
Additional benefits provided to the Insured include medical transport,
emergency dental accident expense benefit and subsistence allowance
benefit.
Insurance must be purchased within 60 Days
of arrival to Canada.
Coverage and eligibility:
- This insurance covers visitors to Canada requiring an emergency
hospital stay or emergency medical treatment. It also protects
immigrants and Canadians returning to Canada after living abroad who
are awaiting provincial health plan coverage.
- Coverage options to the following limits:
$50,000/$100,000/$150,000/$200,000 (CAD).
- This plan includes 24-Hour Accident Insurance up to $25,000
(CAD).
- This plan includes a $100 (CAD) deductible with a buy-out
option.
- This plan is also available as a family plan or a two persons
plan.
To purchase this insurance you must be a
visitor to Canada, an immigrant awaiting provincial government health
care coverage, or a returning Canadian.
Benefits
Includes medical transport, emergency dental,
prescription drugs and additional board and lodging expense for the
insured person's travelling companion while they are confined to a
hospital and more.
